The Venue
Our course is located in the Savin Royd woods in the village of Haigh, on the Barnsley/Wakefield boundary at Junction 38 off the M1 and is available for members to use throughout the year.
The terrain is undulating with some quite steep areas to negotiate. A few areas are prone to flooding and tend to remain muddy throughout the year, therefore suitable footwear should be worn. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the terrain, the course may not be suitable for those with mobility problems.
Directions
From the M1 Northbound, leave at Junction 38 and take the 4th exit into Haigh village. Go through the village and the site entrance in on your left through a farm gate.
Dogs
You are welcome to being well behaved dogs into the woods. They MUST be kept on a leash at all times and you are expected to clean up any mess they make so remember to bring your pooper scoopers and bags!
